Last Saturday morning our whole family was up and heading out the door by 6:30 am. We were on our way to Avery's very first
cross
country meet. Yay! I loved watching her warm up with her team in her oversized uniform (Much better than the short shorts that cross country runners usually don). My stomach did somersaults as I watched her 
nervously waiting for her grade's turn to race. After waiting through six separate heats it was finally her turn and she was amazing! She finished her 3/4 mile race in 7min 55 sec.

It's a school team. They let 4th and up participate. She was so excited to run this year.
